Blicky's Rock & Roll History Charades....Part 1

For your entertainment this evening Blicky is going to act out some great moments in the past forty years of musical history. Of course we provide this as a public service, so you can forward this to your friends and see how cool they are. To read the answers posted below simply perform a graceful handstand directly in front of your computer monitor.

Blood on the Tracks! Tangled up in Blue... I used to listen to that song over and over and over again as a teenager! Damn that was a ong time ago.

I cracked up when I saw that you could actually follow Oscar Wide on Twitter. So I made an ItsNapoleon account so that I can't tweet his letters to Josephine.. weird, eh?

Graceful handstand - not possible

I love "Tangled up in Blue".. can't believe I didn't get that one. And posting upside down is phenomenal. Oh, but "What up Dawg", not really new anymore, Blizzle.

Scuse me but I'm still laughing at your Nick Nolte post. Uhm - I got no answers to your questions, but that might just be because I'm stuck in the 60's and haven't emerged into modern day music - ya think? Who's Bounce by the way? Blicky looks like he's having a marvy time - he's soooo photogenic! I hurt myself trying to do a hand stand.

Not clever enough to guess any of them but my favorite is definitely Smells Like Teen Spirit! I heart your sketches--they are so wonderful.

Haha always happy if I can elicit a chuckle marie.

:) Holte Ender. Yes if it's not graceful, the answers won't appear. Bloggy magic.

LOL CDB that must mean I'm an old dawg. For shizzle, I was up so late laughing at my sorry self that I couldn't come up with anything remotely "new" sounding. :)

Cynthia, oh there are a few from the 60's and 70's! Bounce?

:) Thanks Ann.

You're a very clever cat! I do have to say that I got one right, I got one right! Losing my Religion. I should have guessed Tangled up in Blue. It's one of my favorites. I'm so ashamed...

(: That's okay, Blick.. I still consider it new since I'm, ahem, a mid-70s birthday. Cough.

I had to come back to say that I guessed "Never Break the Chain" - Fleetwood Mac for #2, and it's now in my head. Great riddle charades!

Hahahaha, I love these!
The Nirvana one is great. It should actually be your album cover, you know, when you start the band up. (I'm playing bass!)

I got the R.E.M. and the Nirvana but was completely baffled by the others. As a Canadian, I'm ashamed to say I don't know many of Joni Mitchell's songs and I know very few Dylan songs (being in between eras, I guess) I recognized the titles after the fact. As for the Pink Floyd - I should have got that one, but in my defense, I haven't had my coffee yet. Good fun BK. Now do some movie scenes!
